Carley Bird is a Paralegal within both the Family and Employment departments and provides support and assistance to Lianne Payne and Sophia Mellor.
Carley has over seven years of experience in family law and has spent the last four years working primarily on cases involving social services where children have been taken into care or placed for adoption. Carley has also assisted on Human Rights cases for children in care and working with Guardians who have become involved in private law contact matters.
Carley has worked in the legal practice since 2010, starting out in conveyancing and wills, trust and probate. Since then Carley worked family law at Blakemores LLP and Brethertons LLP.
Carley is a member of the Institute of Legal Executives having completed her level 3 in law in 2011.
Outside of work, Carley loves to read, listen to music and is an avid fan of Zumba. She enjoys a full social life; festivals, cinema, concerts, dancing and is a keen musical goer. She enjoys spending time with her nieces and nephew – they keep her entertained.
