Kathryn graduated from Coventry University in November 2018 after achieving a First-Class Law LLB Degree with Honours. She is currently studying her LPC part-time at De Montfort University in Leicester whilst working full time as a Paralegal in the Residential Conveyancing Department here at Askews Legal.
Kathryn started her legal career working part-time as a Legal Secretary at a local high-street firm whilst studying for her Degree where she assisted in Conveyancing, Private Client and Family Law matters. Now, she works within the Residential Conveyancing Team at Askews and assists our fee earners with the day to day running of conveyancing transactions including the sales and purchases of both Freehold and Leasehold Properties, Auction sales and New-Build purchases. Kathryn is very friendly and approachable and is happy to assist with client queries and lend a helping hand wherever necessary.
Kathryn is still in the early days of her legal career but she hopes to continue her professional development and improve her skills to progress in her legal career and one day qualify as a Solicitor. After Kathryn completes her LPC she hopes to continue her academic studies to graduate with a Masters of Law LLM qualification.
In her spare time Kathryn enjoys going to the gym, watching films at the cinema and spending time with her family and friends. Kathryn also enjoys challenging herself and raising money for charities. For example, in June 2017 Kathryn took part in her second Wolf Run and rose over £600 for Fibromyalgia Action UK. She enjoyed it so much that she took part in a further Wolf Run just for fun the following year and plans to do so again this year.
