Laura obtained a degree in Art History from de Montfort University in 2005 before embarking on a career in law in 2007.
Laura initially gained experience in Litigation and Wills Trust and Probate before moving to Family law in 2011.
Laura works primarily on cases involving children including contact and residence disputes, specific issue orders and prohibited steps orders. Laura has a particular interest in cases involving the international movement of children and often assists in cases in the High Court such as international child abduction, proceedings under the inherent jurisdiction as well as recognition and enforcement of foreign judgments. In addition to this, Laura also deals with domestic violence matters to include Non-Molestation Orders and Occupation Orders.
Laura is an Associate Member of the Institute of Legal Executives and is due to qualify as a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives in 2021.
Outside of work Laura enjoys going to the cinema, visiting museums and galleries and gardening.
