Rebecca is a solicitor within the conveyancing department at Askews LLP.
Rebecca trained in Manchester, where her areas of practice were criminal defence, prison law, family, housing, immigration and actions against the police.
While she worked full-time as a trainee, Rebecca obtained her PGDL (distance learning) at the College of Law in Birmingham, before going on to do her LPC (also distance learning) at the College of Law in Chester.
After qualifying in 2004, Rebecca relocated back to the Midlands and moved into conveyancing, which she has practiced ever since – with some forays into commercial property and agricultural law.
Rebecca was a partner at her last firm where, as well as fee earning, she managed the residential property department. Rebecca also implemented and maintained the anti-money laundering and legal practice compliance at her previous firm.
Now at Askews LLP, Rebecca is enjoying the focus of being back in her fee-earning. She has a broad knowledge that stretches the whole gamut of conveyancing and many years experience in dealing with clients from all backgrounds.
In her spare time, Rebecca draws pet portraits. She also enjoys playing video games with her daughter.
